Call for Symposia

BioAIM cordially invites the submission of symposia proposals with the objective of providing a platform for focused discussions on novel and emerging subjects or innovative applications of established methodologies. A symposium may center around a specific theme or showcase the work conducted by societies or international consortia.

The deadline for submitting symposia proposals is November 30th, 2023.

All proposals must be prepared using the BioAIM template and submitted to info@bioaim.org.

Applicants will be informed of the acceptance or rejection of their proposals in early December 2023.

Each symposium will have a duration of 90 minutes and will comprise one keynote presentation and four presentations selected from the submitted abstracts.

The keynote speaker will have 30 minutes, including a Q&A session, while the contributed papers will have 15 minutes each for presentation and discussion. Slight adjustments to these time allocations may be made to accommodate the final program.

To lead a symposium, a chair and a co-chair must be designated, and both individuals plus the presenters must be registered participants to ensure their presence at the event.

Upon acceptance of a symposium proposal, the keynote speaker and the four speakers are required to submit an abstract of their presentation using the abstract submission tool before December 31st. Additionally, they must complete their conference registration by April 30th at the latest. Keynote speakers whose proposals were not selected for symposia still have the opportunity to submit an abstract for consideration in the regular scientific program.
